Standard regime prisoners can have one hour's visit per day if unconvicted and a two hour visit once per week if convicted.

Unconvicted prisoners on the enhanced regime can have an additional two hour visit once per week by application.

Convicted prisoners on the enhanced regime can have two three hour visits per week.

TRAVEL INFORMATION


Train:
There is a main line station in Peterborough City Centre. The prison is a 10 minute taxi ride away. Alternatively it is possible to walk to the prison along Bourges Boulevard / Mayors Walk – taking around 20 minutes.

Facilities at Peterborough Station: Waiting room, refreshments, toilets, baby changing facilities, pay phone and ATM. The station is step free - Steps to platforms 3, 4 & 5 or a ramp bridge at the North end of station. An electric mobility assistance buggy for passengers who would like assistance to platforms 3, 4 & 5 is available between 0600-2200. Ticket Office and Car Park are step free.

Bus:
Monday to Saturday - Buses run every ten minutes from the City Centre Bus Station (Bay 2). The nearest bus stop to the prison is on Westfield Road – opposite the Shell petrol station. Travel time from the City Centre to Westfield Road is approximately ten minutes. It is then approx a 15 minute walk to the prison entrance.

Tip from a visitor:

Take the no 3 bus get off at first stop, walk back to crossing and use footpath through park bear left and follow prison wall round until you see centre

Buses also run on a Sunday from Bay 2 at half hourly intervals between 10.15 am and 5.15 pm. Thereafter the buses run every hour at a quarter past the hour.
